Always remember being disappointed in the title of The Album. With already having an album titled simply Abba thought it caused confusion when talking about the Abba album. I know it was marketing at the time...,The Movie, The Soap but I would have preferred a different title. Given the studio albums were no longer than two words I would have gone for Eagle as the album soared to new heights and was the opening track. Move on would have been good or Departure as their music had by now moved on and departed from their earlier stuff to more mature areas. Anyone got other ideas?

And what about Super Trouper had it not replaced Put on your white sombrero? Would it have been called ‘The Piper’ or ‘White sombrero’? My favourite album title is Arrival announcing Abba as having arrived to stay on the music scene in 1976. No other obvious title for that album. Same with ‘’Voulez Vous ‘and ‘The Visitors’.

'Arrival' is a great title for an album, but not as good as 'The Visitors'. The only problem with the 'Arrival' concept is the fact that the track 'Arrival' is right at the end, rather than at the beginning where it should logically be. A bit like the 'Abba' album would have been if 'So Long' had been the first track, rather than the last one. It only makes sense if you over-think it.
The album title that slightly annoys me is 'Voulez-Vous'. Should have a question-mark at the end.
Best alternative title for 'Super Trouper' would have been 'Me and I'. Probably a better title than ST, actually.

For the 1975 album I think Limousine would have been a good title for the Abba album -reference to Man in the Middle and the front cover. If using one of the songs as a title.....Rock Me. Or I’ve Been Waiting. Just realised modes of transport have appeared on 3 studio album covers...Abba, Arrival and The Album.

Why should Voulez-Vous have a question mark at the end?

Voulez Vous is French for what do you want/ like? It’s a question so should have a question mark.

I know we're talking about the Voulez-Vous album, not the song, but four other ABBA song titles-Does Your Mother Know, Why Did It Have To Be Me, What About Livingstone, and Should I Laugh Or Cry-are also questions, but I don't think they should have question marks after them.

Strictly speaking they all should have question marks but other songs by other artists don’t too. ...How deep is your love..,How do I know....When....Whose gonna rock me now.....Who we’re you with in the moonlight.....When will I see you again....Have you ever fallen in love ....Do you really want to hurt me......Will you still love me tomorrow..What now my love ...and the list goes on. La question n’est pas voulez vous, mais .....why?

Always annoys me! Some get it right, though (e.g. The Smiths' excellent 'How Soon Is Now?').

'Voulez-vous?' really could do with a noun, pronoun or verb to complete the question and tell us what's on offer. The implication is that it's obvious. But if the night is going Lady Marmalade well, they would surely be using 'tu' not 'vous'.. unless the invitation was addressed to more than one person
