Wonderful pics, finally found the other pic that went with the first one that was posted ) Couldn't agree more, dizzymoe. Very, very good show!
The third pic, kind of faded, in your second collection, when do you think it was taken?

Nice video MWilson, she seemed so happy and relaxed being the "little star" during that performance. )

The first known time they were pictured together. January 1968 and Agnetha's first TV appearance. I see no boys.
Thanks a lot chelseacharger! That opens a window of photo opportunities of several years afterwards. You guys are truly amazing. I always liked specialists of all sorts. They are such plesant company!
Also, I share dizzimoe's sentiment wholeheartedly. Such a terrible waste!

Lovely - with this nice little touch of Swedish ompa-bumpa that ABBA never really nailed.

That's a good question. These are the earliest I could find of just the two of them on raffem.com, from around 1972-73. The baby certainly places it in time for folks in the know. Does this one from 73 even make the top ten list of earlies, do you think?

Heyyyy, how did a blonde video end up on this thread? Must agree with the threadmaster, shoshin, you're being way out of line here, but much thanks anyway.

Yep! Thanks, shoshin. It's actually 22 seconds with Frida listening to an early Swedish hit of hers. She looks so much younger when listening to the music than afterwards. Quite remarkable, the subtle changes of expression. Showing music's power of transformation, I'd say. She's about thirty here, I suppose.

I stumbled over an about 10 second long video clip with Frida just sitting there looking beautiful, but I lost it, except for a couple of stills. Can anybody place it in context and time. Or even link to it? It seems that the cameraman had Frida listening to a song. It's just my guess, but if so, that was a great idea.

Ah, the Swedish saunas! A must-do when visiting Sweden - and then a quick dip in the sea. So great in a cold climate!
I've been wondering. When did the girls start getting their picture taken together regularly? Is there a very first real twosome? (If you can speak of such a thing.)

What a great collection of big early portraits, dizzymoe! They give a really good sense of the time, too. The Summer of Love - and the next few summers.

And here she is with Agnetha. Note that they both have similar hair, except only one of them is close to Agnetha's natural colour Yes, I think Titti's dark roots are showing in the picture with her mom, shoshin. Nasty cough you got there! Been out late in your bodypaint? Ann-Margret could go for Frida in "Mad About The Boy", I'd say, and not just because of the hairdo. (Is that really the best word in English for "frisure"?)

I’ve been wondering, littleagnetha, now that you’ve called the thread Princess Anni-Frid Photos, how come you never show Frida dressed like a real princess? I like those big beautiful frocks.

I really like Agnetha's white jumpsuit and dwelling on the thought, or rather the mental images, of the intricacy of putting it on I think it was painted on Have to disagree with you on that, shoshin. Bodypaint are for girls riding in the back seat of motorcycles, I'd say, not for highly cultured girls with impeccable taste, who can afford tailormade white jumpsuits and drive their own top-of-the-line Volvos. Still, when abbafanglosuk's 3 minute long video with only one (1) single still picture can attract 242.498 visitors, we're talking about a very, very well fitting jumpsuit for sure, so you are excused for your honest mistake, of course.

Did I mention the palmtrees ...? No, I forgot the palmtrees. I like them very much, too. And - not starting a long list here - I really like Agnetha's white jumpsuit and dwelling on the thought, or rather the mental images, of the intricasy of putting it on. Things that wear down your soul were fewer in those times, I'd say, like velcro and quick fixes of all kinds. There's no quick fixing of your heart once you laid your eyes on Agnetha dancing under the palms, that's for sure.

This is about as close as we'll get to concert footage ... I like everything about that version of "Hey, Hey Helen". The song, the arrangement, the sound, the girls, the choreography, the costumes, the light … well, I’m not gonna make a list, it would be too long … did I mention the girls? Here’s Frida in Copenhagen 1975. (I missed her then, but I just found out, so I’ve only had a short, but very intense grievance period.)

"En Ledig Dag" ("A Day Off") including the Frida interview. The show was broadcast on the day when Sweden changed from driving on the left-hand side of the road to the right, and the police had advised everybody to stay at home, so most of the Swedes got to know Frida that night.

Agnetha's first number one hit in Sweden as a singer/songwriter for Cupol (Jag Var Så Kär/I Was So In Love) is from 1967 when she had just turned 17.
