So genuinely vulnerable. She only wanted to dance and sing.

Sweaty obsessed fans in Australia Poor cops awww - obsessed yes - sweaty ? well, it was March and would have been quite warm I guess And those poor cops loved it - especially standing along the front of the stage during concerts - they certainly didn't have a bad time of it

Roxanne, did you go to many of those concerts during this tour? That must have been awesome.

Like MJ in Smooth Criminal

Never looked at it that way before Martin lol I did always like that photo though - and I know at least one person who has identified themselves in that photo - it is a good representation of how crazy it was here

...it is a good representation of how crazy it was here I live near to Birmingham in the UK; your opening post has a video about the gig at the Odeon. It's interesting to compare the security guards on that clip, who seem to be having a rather less frenetic evening than yours. It takes a lot to get Brummies excited. Queuing is our favourite sport The clip is shortened on the opening post link though. Misses the best bits

Roxanne, did you go to many of those concerts during this tour? That must have been awesome. I went to the first Australian concert - in Sydney with the rain I wish we had been able to go to them all - but it was tough enough for Mum to take a family of 5 to one. And I honestly think the first Sydney one was the craziest of them all - no allocated seating with the outdoor concerts - and 10's of thousands wanting the best seats ! Chaos - but so thrilling !!

Misses the best bits Great video Martin Definitely a different scene in the UK - very calm as opposed to here - but probably made a big difference that the venues were smaller, and there was specified seating. Having to run for seats certainly stirs up the crowd lol As for queuing, we tried that outside the venue - didn't take long to become a crushing mob though

I had never heard this funny story before so just posting in case it's new to others too Yeah that's funny... But who's this guy? Alice Cooper? As you might guess from the anecdote, he was almost as famous as ABBA at one time. He had a UK number 1 with School's Out, though the follow up single Elected was even better imho. He was quite a trailblazer; Elected was made in 1972, four years before punk music arrived, yet all the main elements are there.

I loved him back then. For one carnival-season I even dressed as him – complete with top hat and snake. Great fun ...

Came across this colourised picture of Agnetha. She didn't wear an alternative outfit like this, did she? Black n' Gold looks nice too.

This is like the "what color is the dress" photo from a few months ago. Lol. Are we all seeing black and gold? It does look great on her. They should have worn these.
