Seriously that´s one horrible review. I mean it´s so full of hate it´s embarassing, typical Swedish leftist thinking, pull everyone above you down. The people loved them anyway that´s what mattered, and to the rest...time proved them right. Lovers live a little longer.

That the show in Oslo was a joke both musically and in terms of entertainment, the reporter claims people were starting to leave after a few songs and that the audience had been brainwashed to like this so called "music" so that the "abba industry" could cheat them of their hard earned cash. Especially the younger listeners had been targeted by Abba as they are more vulnerable, he claims... Furthermore Agnetha and Frida are, according to the reporter, devoid of any vocal abilities their voices resembling hissing, and that the whole thing is embarrasing to the hundreds of bands from Sweden who are so much more talented then this farce etc etc... And this is from one of the largest Swedish newspapers at the time. The left had, and to a large extent still have a strong influence in swedish media unfortunatley. Abba really had an uphill battle at home but won in the end.

I love the way they looked at this time. I think it was when they looked their best and not the 1979 tour. I was not keen on the shorter hair and perms . The headband look in 1981 seemed to age Frida. Hard to believe that only 4 years separated those looks. Think they looked so young in 1976/77 by comparison. Would love 1977 tour on dvd but then their choice of songs were limited. And why did they pick Sitting in the Palmtree? There were better songs to choose from.
