Really enjoyed listening to ABBA in concert. It was a good idea to let the son make the hard choices, I'd say. There probably were some of those. Very crisp & clean sound - the girls are awesome, of course, but what a great band, too! They play as well live as any of the best, that I know of. Such good times!

Great collage of picture Poul - are they from the LP inside cover ? Can't wait to receive my vinyl ! I agree, a fantastic band apart from the girls - such a professional production

The picture on the top row (left) is the cover of the Live album taken from a different angle.
It looks like it to me anyway.
What does everybody else think ?

How about this for a nice alternative image ? It is a nice picture Julian, but it doesn't work the same as the picture they decided to use. The one that is being used is more powerful, full of energy and showing how much ABBA interacted with the audience and fed off their energy. It makes a statement and it is an iconic image of them.

Finally Roxy I am in heaven Arrived yesterday the Digibook What a intro? Just live it as do all the vocals by the girls I have no complaints after all it is a LIVE recording. So many favourites. Money Money Money, Why Did It Have To Be Me, Eagle I'm Still Alive just so many
One huge MISTAKE though this Live recording should have been released early '80 when Abba were at there peak. Also they should have done the same with the Australian Tour of '77 Released it in '78. I hope Ludvig goes into the vaults again after hearing this we need a Live concert form Australia

Looking back they could have released this in time for the Christmas in 1979.
The last concert was on the 10th of November and this would have given the record company plenty of time to put something out.
What a shame they didn't at the time.
I' still keeping my fingers crossed for a picture disc version of this release maybe ?

I like to make postcards as keepsakes for my own log of what I read and listen to. In this case, I searched for black and white photographs from the 79 ABBA tour on the net and got about ten hits. I picked five of them for the card. They were the ones that I thought best conveyed the amazingly positive energy of those ABBA gigs.

That is all very interesting John - and I thank you for sharing this here. Does anyone know anything about the Royal Albert Hall 15 minutes ? I'll do a check around because I seem to remember something about that. A medley from 1977 would be so awesome ! But I can't really see them doing that for this Wembley release. More investigation needed for sure. There is a 1977 royal Albert hall full recorded concert but only recorded for radio at the time as radio one where to do a special in concert in 1977. As my mums sister mentions it in her diary from 1977. I do have a few songs from the royal Albert hall concert. But sadly can’t share due to reasons beyond my control. And do have part of the mini musical as well from that show.

I'm just listening to the album on Spotify and I'm surprised how good it sounds. Does anybody know if it was remastered for digital platforms? The mix on the CD is muffled and lacks ambience but it sounds clearer and more detailed on Spotify, especially from Rock Me on. Or am I just imagining it? Anybody else noticed?
