I've pre-ordered this of course and I'm really looking forward to it. I do wish there was a DVD available though, how's that for always wanting more?

I have pre-ordered the Limited Edition Digibook CD and of course, the itunes download version. I was preparing to order the 3LP set, but have been offered this for free by ABBA The Museum - as compensation for a slightly damaged parcel from the webshop - so I have all bases covered now Roxy Australia

I also can't wait. I am impatiently waiting for the longer iTunes clips to appear ! I have ordered the CD, the download and the LP versions, which is all throughly unecessary but the thrill of ordering a new ABBA album is too much to deal with I am really looking forward to hearing clear versions of so many of the songs, not only I'm Still Alive, but also As Good As New and If It Wasn't For The Nights. I hope the inserts are well written and contain lots and lots of photos. Only 2 weeks to go

A quote took from ABBA4ever. I have a feeling that there might be TV adverts promoting the album here in the UK the week before it's released. Gold was heavily promoted the week of it's release, there were adverts during Good Morning Britain so there could be a chance that the live album could be promoted in the same way.
And if the music papers here in the UK promote it I have a feeling it won't be until next Octobers issue that it will appear in. (hope that lst bit made sense)

I'm really looking forward to this. As I don't have a turntable, I'll be getting the digibook CD edition (as I am appalled that Universal didn't think to include the artwork for the iTunes edition). I agree with the rest of you: I am hopeful of some great sleeve notes and tons of photos. Speaking of iTunes, it seems strange that they still have not activated the samples.
It would be nice if those of you who get the vinyl edition would give us all the details of the larger artwork. I wonder if there'll be a booklet - like there was with the original vinyl edition of the Chess album?

I also wish there was a DVD Kevin - I guess us fans are never satisfied Roxy Australia Hello Roxy. I’ve always liked hardworking girls so I wish you the very best of luck with the new forum project. It's not a DVD in the least, but here’s a header from a Danish ABBA Live at Wembley Arena promo blog that I bet you don’t know. (http://abbalivesite.blogspot.dk/) As a happy reader of your blog, I’m pretty sure you’ll like the pic of Agnetha’s white boots. It’s a nice change, I’d say, from the compulsive interest in the shape of her proverbial white you-know-what. Actually, I wouldn’t be surprised at all if you had a similar pair yourself – of boots, I mean. Cheers from Denmark!

hi Poul - thanks for your support Thank you also for clarifying that the pair you think I would have are the boots ! I agree that a picture of Agnetha's boots is a nice change from the usual - and I admit I do have a similar pair - although mine have the satin ribbon that ties up around the boots - like the Mamma Mia ones Roxy Australia

I just posted on the ABBA Forum, and thought I'd might as well just add here: Wasn't there a mention of a fifteen minute 'Royal Albert Hall' release from ABBA? On: www.artistcaretaker.com/abba-40th-anniversary-waterloo.html there's a mention for September 2014: September 2014 ABBA Live At Wembley 2CD Standard Version, 4LP mit Gatefold The Complete Collections on ITunes: Alle Deluxe Releases und alle Singles. Live At Wembley + Royal Alber Hall (15 min.) digital exclusive Sooo, September is now, the Live Album is out this week --what do we get from Royal Albert Hall? Is it a snippet from the February 14th 1977 concerts (there were two that day): One of these concerts were filmed for 'The Movie'; perhaps sound was recorded from more concerts in Europe and Australia?. What other could 'Royal Albert Hall' have to do with ABBA? In 'The Movie', during the end credits, we see live footage from the encore of 'Thank You For The Music' (but we hear the studio recording): The footage is a bit strange in format, differing from the rest of the film: Lasse Hällström has commented this clip is from Wembley, as the film crew changed the format on the way to Australia Ludvig Andersson has confirmed live recordings from Australia exsists, but apart from the above mentioned I haven't heard or read anything about this 'digital exclusive': anyone has any more info? 15 minutes is not enough to wrap up 'The Girl With The Golden Hair' in total, but an edit? There's also a possibility that the 15 minutes from Royal Albert Hall 1977 is a medley of songs from the 1977 playlist which isn't among the 1979 Wembley ones? The songs performed in 1977, but not in 1979 are: Tiger That's Me Sitting In The Palm Tree He Is Your Brother I Do I Do I Do I Do I Do Dum Dum Diddle When I Kissed The Teacher Mamma Mia I Am An A I've Been Waiting For You ...and three of the four songs in the Mini Musical. If they selected from this list to make a medley from Royal Albert Hall, which ones would it be?

That is all very interesting John - and I thank you for sharing this here.
Does anyone know anything about the Royal Albert Hall 15 minutes ?
I'll do a check around because I seem to remember something about that.
A medley from 1977 would be so awesome ! But I can't really see them doing that for this Wembley release.
More investigation needed for sure.

If they chose from the list you wrote John, I would hope they would select: Tiger That's Me He Is Your Brother I Do I Do I Do I Do I Do When I Kissed The Teacher Mamma Mia I Am An A I've Been Waiting For You sorry, but Sitting In The Palm Tree and Dum Dum Diddle can be left out I think ....
