There was plenty of media awareness when the first 2 new songs were announced in September. I feel little media interest when Voyage was released in Novemver. But now with Voyage concert, more mefia interest.

Seems that the photo/video policy has changed for all shows:
"During your visit, you are welcome to take photos outside of the arena and inside the main arena concourse. However, to keep the contents of the concert a secret for future audiences, and to limit distraction for those around you, the taking of photographs or the use of audio or video recording of the concert is prohibited. So kindly put your phones and cameras away, help ABBA keep the mystery of Voyage alive, and please enjoy."

Unless there are 3000 mobile phone pouches that are enforced before entering the theatre, I cannot imagine footage will not regularly be posted by attendees. Sounds like a request out of respect more than anything, and naive and optimistic to boot.

Kate bush gigs in 2014 had a no photos policy. She did 22 gigs to 3500 people each night. A grand total of 3 videos emerged by the end of the 22 gigs. The longest video was about 6 mins. Thats pretty good. Many fans showed respect. So fingers crossed for voyage.

That’s not entirely true. The entirety of The Ninth Wave segment is out there, as is much of A Sky of Honey and some of the first Act and encores. Search in the videos on FB. I watched them ages ago and just searched again. I’m surprised they’re still there, she must know about it.

It was nothing short of amazing. I've had the time of my life. Anybody hesitating if it's worth it, go ahead and buy a ticket! I'm still speechless. I guess I have to digest it first and then I'll try to tell you more. Good night!

I have read nothing but positive, glowing reports about the show. Even convincing some sceptics. It is very pleasing. The video clip of SOS looks great as does the set list which can be tweaked for future shows. The set list can be seen here www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-61592104.ampThis will all no doubt help ticket sales but by how much is anyone's guess. This concert in which all four attended is very likely to be the last new thing ABBA do together. Fantastic to go out on a high. It seems inevitable there will be a dvd or digital version at some stage.

Wonderful, positive reviews. ABBA and the technical team involved in this Voyage show have obviously achieved something marvelous. I just hope that future developments of the technology will allow the setlist to include some other, less well-known, songs to be introduced as time goes on, as a variation from the big hits. I think such a thing would prolong and widen the appeal of such a show for fans and the curious, well into the future. But can this be achieved without the motion capture of the ABBA members? Somehow, sometime in the future, perhaps it can. But in the meantime, it's already looking to be a great success.

Somebody else has described the concert very well in the meantime already, so just a few more thoughts from me:
Some people were wondering why The Winner Takes It All was chosen as a finale. Actually it probably has a purpose as there are new lyrics added to the end of the song, sung by a choir, that appears on some kind of a dais above the whole stage during the final part of the song. However, I was not able to make out what exactly they sing.
When All Is Said Done is indeed one of the highlights.
The show was a bit too loud I think (am I getting old?), to the point, where the voices of Agnetha and Frida were not recognizable for me anymore. So at places I'd say I wouldn't even be able to tell if the songs were sung by two other singers during the loudest parts.
I could live without the animated sequences too but again, they serve a purpose and tell a story. However, I would definitely prefer seeing the Avatars instead.
My third objection (but who am I to object at all?) is that during two songs (the first was Don't Shut Me Down) a semi-transparent screen slided in front of the stage, on which the giant images of ABBAtars were projected. It looked great but it made the "real" ABBAtars behind it look blurred like they were shown on a broken TV-screen. Actually, during the first night I thought there was a bug and they would have to stop the show and fix it.
Otherwise it was spectacular and after seeing it twice I wouldn't say no to going again.

I've seen concert segments, but I don't like it because it's not what hasn't been here yet.
Clothes, appearance, songs.
My idea of an interesting new concert Avatar is as follows.
1.Appearance of Abba from 1983. (where they ended, they follow)
2. Songs that have not yet been performed on a TV performance or concert in 1979.
3.Songs by Benny and Bjorn now sung by Agnetha and Frida, sung by other singers (Gemini, Elaine-Paige - & - Barbara-Dickson, The Rivals -) after 1982.
4. Medley demo recordings or some finished songs straight away, for example Just like that (sax version)

from what I saw and IMO, this concert looks like a "showcase" of everything this technology has to offer, showing its potentials to other artists.
And ABBA is perfect to start of what is coming in the near futur.

Do I want more, of course, it’s like eating cake..lol
Realistically, I’m ok with it all being the last hurrah, could we really have imagined this in the dark days of the 1990s, no, but here we are with a story that keeps on giving for many years to come. I guess it’s frustrating for us fans, one is saying something different to the other, you would think they would’ve got their stories the same, it’s not as if that question was never going to be asked !! So we wait and see what happens, I’m guessing if nothing does by the 50th...it won’t. We’ll get a possible documentary, a possible deluxe Voyage, a possibility of a couple more tracks a DVD, CMP s book, and of course a variation on a theme of compilation albums, so we’re not doing badly are we ?
Just can’t wait for Monday night... nothing like wishing your life away....

Does anyone think there are any other artists this could work for? There's just something so unique, enchanting and endearing about ABBA that I can't really see anyone else pulling it off!

I feel the same, l like lots of different genres of Music. But l think this unique, l definitely would not want to see Artists who are already dead, and all the other artists l would pay to see are still Touring

I have been waiting and thinking of what I wanted to say about the show on the 26th. First word is WOW. I had all ideas in my head of how it was going to sound and look. the whole show is so polished you can see the work that went on putting this together. From the first song to the last it was eye candy. Your eyes were going to blow up as there was so much to take in. The live band to one side and then abba on the other you could not tell which one was real they were that good. The clothes out of the world. The set list, on 2 September I made a list just under haft were played so that was cool. Over all I had a wonderful night.
