shoshin, Right, I found your original post (http://abbachat.com/post/6398/thread) that I forgot about and it's the same guy (I remembered that the Sami topic was already brought up, but I didn't remember in what context). Anyway, it's pretty curious that the Sami people lived in Agnetha's home town (if he's right about that), and I don't think that it was mentioned previously.

Siobhan Hewlett played young Agnetha in the recent drama/documentary on Channel 5. Someone in Casting presumably considered her to be a lookalike, given that acting skills were hardly going to be stretched by the script. I didn't really see much of a physical resemblance on screen. Although compared to the actor who portrayed Agnetha post-ABBA, Siobhan is a spitting image.  |

In due time there was a cut and thrust on abba4ever about the next picture. But I am still sure that this is not Agnetha but a woman that has a strong resemblance to our Agnetha. And what do you think?  |

There's some resemblance, but she reminds me very much of Britt Ekland, around the time that Britt filmed The Wicker Man.
Britt was Agnetha's predecessor in the UK as every teenage boy's favourite Swede. Her expression in the image below suggests that she has just realised that the baton has been passed on.

Photo of a native American woman  www.flickr.com/photos/mashuga/2927864292Being swedish i always felt Agnetha had a strong facial resemblance to the Sami people of Sweden, my fathers from the north of sweden and there is a lot of "mixed race" up there in the very north, Swedes and Samis intermarrying each other. Samis are not blonde and have an asian ancestry, but when mixed with swedes they look alot like Agnetha (though she´s not blonde). Her high puffy cheeks and thin, almost asian-looking eyes is the most striking resemblance of typical sami features. She is from the mid-south of Sweden though...but up north I´ve heard the Agnetha-Sami "theory" many times.   |

Hello a new member here! Some Bugarian singers with asiatic/Baltic? feautures that remind me of Agnetha. I can see similar face structure and the most funny thing is both have the same profession. I've occasionally come across a pic of Jennifer Lawrence that reminded me a little of early Agnetha, though never close enough to risk posting it here. To be honest, I have lost a lot of confidence since Fafner responded to my Hilary Duff suggestion with a brutal 'No way!'
Anyway, here's one of Jennifer that finally passes the threshold. Or does it?

An uncanny and interesting comparsion between the two stars of two bands the OP posted, Faf.
And certainly, I find it coincidental that there's an ABBA revival because of a reunion and a Queen revival because of the biopic Bohemian Rhapsody at the same time,
and then the fans who dig both, fused it all together..
But Roger Taylor, an Agnetha lookalike? Even when he goes soap-opera mode in I Want to Break Free,
I beg to differ!
I think he looks rather more like Anne Murray without eyebrows. :-)
