It still tickles me that an album can still be in the charts 22 years after its original release. And a nerdy-kid part of me is looking forward to seeing the number of weeks crest the 1,000 mark.

In the UK Album Chart of W/E 21st February 2015 ABBA Gold fell from No.72 to No.109
In the UK Album Chart of W/E 28th February I'm not sure, (yet), where ABBA Gold is. It is not back in the Top 100.
But, as all 5 of the other 6 'Most Charted' UK Albums are still in the Top 100, I will up-date their Chart Weeks below.
NOTE - 'Gold' has 1058 UK Top 200 Weeks. It is the 3rd most ever. 'Greatest Hits' by Queen has over 1200, & 'Legend' by Bob Marley & The Wailers, (1984), has 1125. The UK Charts Company gives 'Gold' 987 Top 200 Weeks. That's because they start counting from February 1994, when they first began to compile the UK Charts. 'Gold' had already been in the Charts for 71 Weeks by then. 987 + 71 = 1058 Top 200 Weeks. 'Greatest Hits' (One), (1981), by Queen, has over 1,200 Top 200 Weeks. So, I thought I would show where this places it in the UK's All Time Top 6 Albums - based on Top 75 & Top 100 Chart Weeks.
'The Dark Side Of The Moon' by Pink Floyd is a 1973 Album. It has never been higher than No.2 in the UK. 'Rumours' by Fleetwood Mac is a 1977 Album. It managed 1 Week at No.1 in January 1978 - only for ABBA to knock it off the top with 'The Album'! But, the ABBA Album has not been in the UK Charts since 1979, &
'Rumours' is still Charting to this very day. 'Bat Out Of Hell' never managed higher than No.9 in the Charts. It is a 1977 Album that first Charted in 1978. It reached a Peak of No.9 in 1981, & No.9 again in 2013. 'Greatest Hits' by Queen, is a 1981 No.1 Album. It spent 4 Weeks at No.1, & 23 Weeks in the Top 10. It has sold about 5,400,000 copies in the UK - making it the All Time Best Seller here. However, it has also had around 600,000 Sales added in from a 1994 Double Album & 'The Platinum Collection' Triple CD, from 2000. So, it is said to be the UK's only 6 Million selling Album. It isn't really, as 'only' 5,400,000 of its Sales are from the 1981 Album. 'Legend' by Bob Marley & The Wailers, was a 12 Week No.1 in 1984, & that carries on re-entering the UK Top 75 to this day. It recently reached as high as No.9 due to a special Sales offer on Amazon.uk.
(The UK Album Chart began on Week Ending 28th July 1956)

I've up-dated the Lists in my previous Post to reflect 'Gold' falling from No.74 to No.92 in the latest UK Top 100.
(The W/E 29th November 2014 Chart) As well as 'The Dark Side Of The Moon' & 'Rumours' also still being in the Top 100.

In today's UK Album Chart the No.59 Album sold 4,193 copies to be at that Position.
Which means that ABBA Gold sold at least 4,000 copies to be at No.60. (It has risen from No.74).
It looks like it will be in 2015's Top 100 UK Best Sellers, when they are revealed in January.
It will be the 14th Year that it has been in the Top 100 Best Sellers & its 1st time since 2010.
It was the 106th UK Best Seller for 2014.
