How amazing it would have been to see ABBA during the 1974/75 Tour. The energy tops the charts - and I love the fact that the costumes and choreography were already established. What a crying shame that there is no video footage from these shows Roxy Australia Attachments:

I have a few 1975 bootleg concerts on my computer but good sound but rarely get played on my radio station. Also have a set of photos somewhere in my collection. There is know only a few secs of video from one of the concerts but was shown on the UK ABBA doc super trouper only on the test pressing version that I own.

Even a good audio recording would be good - the bootleg cd's around leave a lot to be desired.

This is the collage used on the Money Money Money single cover - I always found this image so exciting - and wished I saw the performances they were taken from - had no idea back in the mid 70's about the 74/75 tour ...

It does seem odd that Polar, who were so on the ball by filming those videos of songs that sent the Aussies wild, didn't at least arrange to have any of these concerts professionally shot or recorded.

This is about as close as we'll get to concert footage ... I like everything about that version of "Hey, Hey Helen". The song, the arrangement, the sound, the girls, the choreography, the costumes, the light … well, I’m not gonna make a list, it would be too long … did I mention the girls? Here’s Frida in Copenhagen 1975. (I missed her then, but I just found out, so I’ve only had a short, but very intense grievance period.)

Did I mention the palmtrees ...? No, I forgot the palmtrees. I like them very much, too. And - not starting a long list here - I really like Agnetha's white jumpsuit and dwelling on the thought, or rather the mental images, of the intricasy of putting it on. Things that wear down your soul were fewer in those times, I'd say, like velcro and quick fixes of all kinds. There's no quick fixing of your heart once you laid your eyes on Agnetha dancing under the palms, that's for sure.

Bodypaint are for girls riding in the back seat of motorcycles, I'd say, not for highly cultured girls with impeccable taste, who can afford tailormade white jumpsuits and drive their own top-of-the-line Volvos. Still, when abbafanglosuk's 3 minute long video with only one (1) single still picture can attract 242.498 visitors, we're talking about a very, very well fitting jumpsuit for sure, so you are excused for your honest mistake, of course.

The ladies are real nothing fake or plastic about them and yet they are both humble, classy and sexy! Unlike the so called artists today that do nothing but shake their butts for attention and have no talent at all.

I want to see one of these concerts ! To cross reference another thread - there's a major marketing mistake - no concert recording or footage from 74/75 !

Rock on '45 in Manchester 25th of November 1974 This lost performance of So Long has always been a bit of a mystery in terms of when (or even if) it was broadcast. Just wondering where the 25/11 date comes from? It does seem a little early, for a number of reasons.

A very fine collection, I didn't know they had these costumes already in 74. They were wearing 'em on TOTP, broadcast 5th December '74. Some kind soul turned up the video:

Just wondering where the 25/11 date comes from? It does seem a little early, for a number of reasons. The date came from the email that was sent to me, www.facebook.com/groups/ABBAtherarephotos/ but it is a private group so I can't get any further info at this time. I will ask the person who sent these to me for more info.
