Was in the local Asda store. Only Voyage on sale . The promotional stand only had 14 left out of 96. Hope supermarket sales count. There is time to catch up as people may impulse buy when doing their shop. If Swifts album has relied on pre orders it will drop quite quickly after 1st week. She was not brave enough to take Abba , Ed or Adele on . She knows her place. Lol.

I think there is a lot more going on in the background of KAEOD than WYDWM. NDAI reminds me of Kirsty McColl's music. Think 'I could be that woman' could be big on the country chart. Love all the bendy sounds going on in Dan.

I actually like Ed's music. Find his songs simple but catchy. Not keen on Adele though. Like her personality but not her songs. They kind of suck the life out of me.

They are fabulous creatures. I have made sure the garden has plenty of plants that would interest them and other insects. They will only sting in self defence and wont attack you. As for Abba in Switzerland ir was shown before video recorders, I tried to record the audio using an audio cassette recorder and microphone. We all had to keep quiet. It was great until my sister barged into the room and started talking. She stopped when she caught my glare and shaking head. On play back you heard it all including my sister barging in to the room. The good old days.

I remember that daft question about Greatest Hits. When I was watching one of the shows it showed them winning Eurovision and Katy Boyle saying we have a winner and there is "no doubt about it". Just coincidence?....."no doubt about it , this is not the end". Indeed it wasn't. It was just the beginning of their voyage through the charts through the years.

Yeah . They recorded two at that time in Leysin..Abba in Switzerland and Snowtime Special. Snowtime had Abba ,Boney M and some other artists to be broadcast at Christmas later that year in 1979. Abba in Switzerland was broadcasted at Easter 1979 in the UK.

If Abba make number two in USA album chart it will be an achievement they were unable to do during their earlier career with a studio album. Bet Abba will be well chuffed with the way the album is performing in its opening week worldwide.

Do we know the position of the album elsewhere yet? NZ,USA, Canada, South America and the rest of Europe, Africa, Asia and Russia?
I keep changing my mind over favourite tracks.. there is so much going on in each track..but I absolutely love Bumblebee, Ode to Freedom, I still have faith, I could he that woman and Don't shut me down..the others great too but these are the ones I find myself repeating more. But that could change. Grateful for all the songs . And great they are back at No.1 breaking records ...pardon the pun.

Wow. Impressive. That means had Abba and Ed released in the same week Abba would have denied him number one in opening week. Impressive for a band who released their last studio album 40 years ago. And still days of sales to go.

Abba have been banned before by BBC... with Summer night city because of the misheard lyric ...sounded like f****** in the moonlight.

Looks like good news from all over regarding sales. Hopefully as they return to number one all over the world, they might even finish the other two songs and maybe include in a deluxe edition in time for the concerts. Little Things growing on me.

Great news regarding sales in the Uk. What a fabulous return that will be. And there is the promising news of a top 10 placing in the States. I really like the whole album except the choir but I was wrong about I have a dream.

Well if you apply 3 score and 10 more both Ed and Adele are approaching middle age. Surely not suitable ages for Radio one or is it a pick and mix? Can't imagine any happening young person wanting to listen to moan a lyroc Adele.

They have not played safe. They have tackled some difficult subjects on this album...alcoholism, climate change , parent separation. The vocals are just beautiful....Bumblebee and Ode stand out for me.

Yeah. Bumblebee is such a beautiful song tackling climate change and the loss of species. There has been a decline in bees. Small they may be but we need them for pollination. The loss of any species is a loss to us all. Such a sweet song contrasts with the dark subject matter. Notice the use of the drums where the warning comes, like impending doom. The loss of one species could trigger a house of cards. And those vocals and harmonies...just perfect.

With its celtic influence that should go down well with Irish and Scottish Americans.

Hi Alan . It was after the Guardian. I am hopeful with a good chart performance worldwide and maybe a top 10 showing in the USA they may consider recording a few more songs but maybe not a full album. Depends on their health too. Benny says he is in his studio everyday anyway and if the others enjoyed it so much it beats playing golf. They might just finish those two songs. Who know? I am just so glad we have this wonderful album.

Great news from around the 🌎. Who knows it might persuade them to do a further song here and there if not a full album. Just grateful to have this album. They are still putting smiles on faces and songs in our hearts.

As a convert to Spotify, it's great to be able to choose you track lists, arrange them in the order you choose, include, exclude so easily. So I will probably drop Little Things outwith December and include The Day before you came or another song . Although I got my cd I have been listening non stop on Spotify and will continue to do so to help the Abba cause. I have Abba to thank for joining Spotify. It has a lot of their solo work too on there. It's like a jukebox on your phone. Apart from Abba I don't think I will buy another physical format.Good new about USA chart position.

I think they got it right with No doubt about it. As there is no doubt about it , it should be an abrupt ending....affirmative ...as their is no doubt. Fading would imply uncertainty, as though I am trying to convince myself I am right if I say it often enough. I wish however they has repeated the final lines in JAN into the fade.

I don't think Little Things will be a big hit at Christmas. The big ones tend to be more brash than lullaby.... songs like by Wizard, Elton Mariah. It is a nice song though.

I collected my cd today but will continue to stream. Apart from the singles I love Ode to freedom , Bumblebee and I can be that woman. Less keen on the choir on little things but I am sure I heard a bit of twinkle twinkle little star in the song. Nice to have a Christmas song. I wonder how the people in Kilkenny are receiving the song When I danced with you. Read that Ed sold 138000 to make number one this week. Abba have a week to go so keep streaming.

Surprised at the Guardian. Thought the Telegraph was the one most likely to give unfavourable reaction. And I bought the Guardian for the Abba article. Well they won't be getting my trade again. Don't bite the hand that feeds you. Mind you I've only bought it once 😃 but in the words of Agnetha....Never again.

Today's interview on BBC, Benny said that he thinks it is but could be persuaded by the others. Bjorn said more or less the same but appeared more open to the suggestion.

Well that's me listened to the album. And loving it. Hard to pick a favourite . And I don't think I can compare it to any of their previous albums although there are nods to previous songs...Dan ..the most obvious. It's funny but may be it was lockdown but I can relate to the song Bumblee. I spent much time in the garden appreciating nature at work and the grand scheme of things and those busy little bees and how important their role is and indeed all species. Bit of everything on this album ....swing, country, celtic, pop, anthem. A beautiful album to end their career.

Keep the faith. Its one reviewer in Sydney. As I have grown, I have realised that the only opinion that matters is my own. A reviewer will not put me off buying a book or album.
