The first known time they were pictured together. January 1968 and Agnetha's first TV appearance. I see no boys.

Thanks very much Roxy. I've already treated myself to a lie in and the first beer is not far away. The weekend starts here.

It's excellent. It's great that they don't just confine the music to only ABBA but include various cover versions of B + B songs, BAO, songs from Chess and Kristina as well as the solo work of the group members.

Think the second one was taken on the Kings Road, Chelsea. Which makes me extra happy.

Re : Saltwater. Does seem odd that they would be unaware of it. Maybe it was because of some copyright issue. Frida's version was for charity. Julian Lennon and/or his record label may have agreed to that but not to be used further. Is it known if Agnetha has been approached for a similar DVD compilation of her works? I'd be really surprised if she hasn't.

This one from the 'Nar Stenkakan Slog' series doesn't feature Frida singing but looking cute in her 1920's outfit. Sten Nilsson is the lucky guy who ends up getting chased by her.

Paid quite a lot for the Box Set on Amazon. But you get a lot of 'bang for the bucks' and have never regretted the outlay. The DVD is great and although over three and a half hours long isn't heavy going because it's nicely divided up in to the various decades, before, during and after ABBA. And of course Frida keeps it light hearted in the intervening interviews. Only minor regrets are that the whole of 'Mitt I Livet' wasn't shown and that 'Ole Lukkoje' wasn't picked instead of the Hawaiian number from 'Nar Stenkakan Slog' which even Frida has a laugh about. Saltwater and that nice Wonderful World duet with Marie Fredriksson would have been good too. But only a small quibble really because it's packed with excellent stuff. Interesting booklet as well. Along with the four re-mastered CD's it's a great accompaniment to the 1967-72 release.

Yes. You can tell she was simply in her element when on stage. Love all of this from 1981.

It does seem odd that Polar, who were so on the ball by filming those videos of songs that sent the Aussies wild, didn't at least arrange to have any of these concerts professionally shot or recorded.

mwilson. Yes, that's when she was chosen as the princess of the Childrens Day Parade in Torshalla, aged 10. Fantastic pictures littleagnetha and never seen before. Easy to pick her out in some. Not 100% sure in the younger class one or the outside the church.

'Meisje uit Ballangen' (Girl From Ballangen) by Dutch band Emellan can now be viewed with subtitles. For those unaware, it's about Frida's brave grandmother, Arntine who took baby Anni-Frid to the safety of Sweden. And the rest, as they say, is history. Hankies at the ready.....

'Vem Kommer Sara Vem Ikvall'. That leading into 'Sista Valsen Med Dig' is probably my favourite bit of Djupa Andetag.
In fact I think I'm going to play it again.

Wow. The last time I saw a cowboy hat that big, 'Hoss' from 'Bonanza' was wearing it.

Can't quite place when this was taken but the hat is similar to the one on the 'Min Egen Stad' single sleeve.
