This may have been when Frida was on tour promoting her solo album around '72...before Abba was really a "thing".

Arrival is a track that I often expect to skip but don't. Once I don't, I get lost in it. It's as if I'm in that helicopter on the back of the album cover (although that would be more like "departure" wouldn't it?). It's a piece of music that just takes me somewhere. The ladies' voices, like sirens, just carry me off.

Thanks. Good to know. Guess I'll just make a point of checking the forum on my own a few times a day.

Thahks, Tony. Talk about the best part of waking up. Come to think of it, Mrs Anderson doesn't look too pleased.

you have a small window at the upper right corner that displays alerts whenever somebody posts in threads that you are participating in, which is pretty useful. Do you mean the 'participated" box in the upper right, Fafner? I've actually never noticed it before. I will keep an eye on it. Thanks. I was getting emails to threads that I had bookmarked, as well as when I was quoted or liked.

I would say this just appears to be a photo op at an odd moment. But...my...what is Frida wearing? This has me wondering if it is truly candid or a photoshoot of some kind. Or maybe just chalk it up to different times and different cultures?

I do, Martin and I find that helpful as well. But I used to get individual emails to let me know when activity was going on with threads that I bookmarked. I no longer do. For example, the "My Abba Collection" thread has been buzzing today and I haven't gotten one email notification about it. I've happened to check the boards a few times today but some days I don't have time to, but I will if I know they are active.

Looking at the photos on this page alone, you'd be forgiven for thinking it was maybe five different women. Frida really is quite the chameleon. I'd say that's quite daring especially for an entertainer. Part of her appeal is to me is what seems like fearlessness in experimenting with her appearance. In some cases she really did look like a different woman depending on the photo you see. But her pretty smile is always the same.

Lately I don't get individual emails when threads that I have bookmarked are updated. Instead I get one email every few days that tells me "You Have Updated Threads" and only specifies one thread within the body of the email. When I look, I see several of my threads have had updates for days and I didn't know about it. Was this changed for a reason? I can live with it of course but I preferred it when I got an email each time a bookmarked thread was updated.

I wonder if something was done to touch up Agnetha's face here. Is it just me or does she look very different, almost like another person?

They're all great but that first one is so nice and clear. Pretty Frida on a pretty Autumn day.

Damian, I watched the first four episodes of Season 2 and then there was nothing airing after that. Too bad because season 2 had some promise. Monica, they have added episodes 5-7 to Hulu now. I've got some catching up to do!

I agree. A lot of laugh-out-loud moments. It seemed like it was growing into itself. I wish a cable or streaming network would pick it up.

I really enjoyed this program, the supporting cast and the scenery were fun and interesting, but I didn't know it was recently cancelled. Episodes from season 2 are on Hulu, but I believe they have stopped production. It no longer airs on NBC. They pulled it after the first two episodes of this season didn't do well in the ratings. I really enjoyed watching it last summer, especially since good summer TV is so hard to find.

^^^^ You wonder if they did any research at all back then. And more questions about 'money' too. Watching the whole interview, Agnetha's English was quite good at that time.
This one's a cracker. Asking about a Greatest Hits album. "How long did it actually take to record?". Good old Cheggers. What a doughnut.
Hmm. Trick question by Bjorn at the end? They're not all from the same town are they?

This sitcom was recently cancelled in the US. It aired last summer here and had started a run this summer when NBC pulled it. It also aired on TV4 in Sweden. It never really took off here ratings-wise but I found it funny, clever and a nice albeit humorous glimpse at Swedish life and culture (helpful that it was largely from an American's perspective). Anyone else have any opinions on the show? deadline.com/2015/07/welcome-to-sweden-cancelled-nbc-amy-poehler-1201486609/

Nice. Mom and businesslady. Such clear prints! I don't think that's Linda. I thought about it after. These must be from '77-'78 and Linda probably wasn't that big yet. You're right.

I don't have the background with the actual release of these photos. But just speaking on personal taste I don't love them either. The guys are fine but the ladies are a little too dressed down. I don't know what that is on Frida's head. They look a bit unprepared, considering there are photos on this site that are not studio shots where they look quite lovely as well as comfortable. abbachat.com/post/1956abbachat.com/post/2378abbachat.com/post/2562

I have a question that may not be a smart one, but I'll ask anyway. Is Agnetha's name misspelled here? Or is "Agneta" the proper Swedish spelling of it and "Agnetha" some international version for our language?

Love Frida's look here. She's devouring the lense.
