Of course, an album would be great, but 2 songs, 5 songs, whatever it turns out to be, will be more than I had ever imagined happening! I just want to hear Agnetha and Frida sing together again, for me there's nothing else like that sound, I think I will cry happy tears! I wonder if we will hear and see the new song/video on TV on the 2nd?

That little 'snippet' of Music sounds very nice. If it out of one of the New Songs, it sounds like ABBA are doing what they usually do - not sounding like anyone else, who is currently making Music. Which is a great relief to me. I hate it when ABBA try to 'fit in'. I had the misfortune to see a Tupac Hologram today. The Song was awful. He was not really 'Singing'. The lyrics were full of foul mouthed language. Thank goodness ABBA try to do beautiful Music!!!

I wonder whether that's the start of an intro of a song and they're going to extend the snippet bit by bit over the week until they reveal the full intro and then the full song on Thursday. Highly speculative, I know. I just hope that when the 'moon' eventually moves out of the way in those four 'solar eclipses', it reveals ABBA and not GOLD

As someone pointed out, that 10 second snippet of music has as many notes as "I Still Have Faith in You" has syllables.
It "sings" those six words perfectly.

If that is the true then I take back what I said about not revealing much - they would basically be revealing the tune of the key part of the chorus - but we don't actually know that. Now I've got those notes in my head with those words attached and it sounds nice

I will NOT be disappointed. We will get new songs. The number of new songs is not clear. At least we will get NEW songs. What a blessing!!!

If that tune is from a new song, I bet the 'boom' in the beginning is just for that clip. It doesn't sound like ABBA to me. There's also an audible click where the boom appears to end, at 3 seconds.

What if we did a very quick poll here, something like:
Will you be very disappointed if there is no new ABBA album (with a minimum of 9 new songs) released in the next few months?
Answer:
YES,
NO,
ONLY SLIGHTLY (disappointed), or
DON'T REALLY CARE.
ONLY SLIGHTLY - If all they have is just a few songs, I would want to know more of what they're going to do with the ABBAtars beyond taking up a major event in two or more cities, now that they've unveiled their ABBA Voyage thing. Surely they can't be just doing just that and that's it?? Sometimes just years of waiting has caused me to get in a state of where something doesn't come through as expected, and I'd stay away from rumours unless their social media says so.

Where exactly are the live events taking place on Sept 2 and is there a way to view them? Stockholm, Vienna, London, are those correct? I wouldn't be surprised if the Voyage website crashes.

From ATRL:
I Still Have Faith In You / Don't Shut Me Down
sept 2nd 6pm uk time
cover is just a picture of a eclipse
i still have faith in you 5:10 (mostly ballad that builds up and gets big at some parts then slows down again)
don't shut me down 3:58 (typical abba bop - amazing)
New Album with 10 songs apparently being released in December according to Pop Justice!

This looks to be the youtube link for the live stream at 5.45pm (UK time) on 2nd September:
It was posted from the ABBA account, so looks genuine.

As Matt says, Pop Justice has not long ago Posted this.
I'm just telling you what the Post says - I've no idea if it is true.
Here it is. I'm just telling you. I've written it exactly as he has.
No idea if it is true, but it was Posted by an, (alleged), Music Industry Employee.
(EPK means Electronic Press Kit). A lot of UK etc. Music Sites, have Members who are Journalists, and who also work in the Global Music Industry. (I'm not saying that Pop Justice is a Web Site for Journalists. I'm just saying that - like a lot of Music and Chart Sites - some Members there will be working in the Media, or working in the Music Industry).
'I just got a sneak peek at the Press kit for this and: - The album will include 10 NEW SONGS. 2 of which will be in the hologram show. - We got a music video for 'I Still Have Faith In You'. (not sure what it's gonna be but the press kit includes pictures of ABBA in motion capture suits.) - The album campaign runs from Sep to Dec so I guess they're targeting a December release date. - Only B&B appeared in the EPK video.

Just wow. Not sure what to think. On the one hand, I am inclined to disregard this as yet another unsubstantiated rumor. On the other hand, a journalist/website is staking their reputation on reporting credible information, so this is not to be taken lightly. If this is indeed the case, HOLY AMAZEBALLS! Also... I find it peculiar that only B&B (in their actual personas) will be appearing in the EPK video. I know Agnetha is notoriously reclusive... so I wonder if she is adamant about staying completely out of the spotlight throughout the promotion of this project. I don't need to see her getting interviewed everywhere, but it would be good to see her make a one-time press appearance, if for no other reason than to let us see that she is happy, healthy and doing well.

I’d like to think there’s something in it. The rest of what this person said seems plausible. If you’re going to make up the bit about ten songs then why stop there? May as well say that all four of them appear together in the EPK, or that they have filmed a video for one of the songs with all four of them in it.
It was eight years ago now, but Agnetha did widely promote her solo album back in 2013. At one point it seemed like every TV or radio programme worth mentioning had an interview with her and she seemed quite comfortable in all of them. I therefore don’t think she doesn’t want to be more involved, but we’ll see.

Such a fantastic era to banish the 'Greta Garbo' tagline and other tabloid rubbish, while also delivering a strong album (and a performance!)
