Not sure if anyone has noticed this but if you compare the vocal track of Just A Notion from Voyage and the Undeleted snippet I am almost certain its a different vocal take possibly a later one its noticeable in the second chorus on the line "and you smile and say hello" listen to the way the hello is sang on both versions its completely different.

Well I'd never heard of Dream World until these last few comments! Just had a listen on YouTube. It strikes me as an odd sound, and stranger still that it includes a singing melody from Does Your Mother Know! Guessing it pre-dates said song... Part of 'Dream World' which goes 'when you reach out and you say to me how I love you girl' was used in 'Does Your Mother Know' on the part which goes 'take it easy better slow down girl, that's no way to go'

Dream World is my favourite ABBA song I loved it from the moment I first heard it in 2003 at the age of 13 I get alot of surprised remarks when I mention that my favourite ABBA album is 'Ring Ring' and I am not sure why people react in a surprised manner I think its a wonderful album and my favourite song from that album is 'Nina Pretty Ballerina'.

I really want to see Deluxe Editions of 'Wrap Your Arms Around Me', 'Eyes Of A Woman' & 'Shine' it would complete the set that started with 'Something's Going On' in 2015.

That perfectly sums up my feelings on the Super Trouper album. We even have the same least favourite. My current ranking would probably be as follows. But the word "current" is doing all the heavy lifting. It'll be interesting to see where Voyage sits in another six months. Arrival and Super Trouper have slipped quite a bit. Probably because everything has been played more often since September. I like that the ratings fluctuate. 1. The Visitors 2. Voulez-Vous 3. Voyage 4. The Album 5. Super Trouper 6. Arrival 7. ABBA 8. Waterloo 9. Ring Ring It's nice to see someone who appreciates Voulez-Vous for a change. I've noticed people tend to place it at the lower ends of their favourite-lists. I really don't know why. Because it's the most disco-oriented album and obviously eager to follow the then-current trends? I don't care, ABBA embraced the style and the result is one of the most cohesive albums they ever made in my opinion (alongside with Super Trouper). The one regret I have is that they didn't use the original rockier version of Does Your Mother Know. But it was probably necessary as otherwise it would stand out too much. I have always said 'Voulez Vous' is ABBA's best album the songs are wonderful its the disco album it does surprise me that it gets rated so low, I absolutely love the cover of the 'Voulez Vous' album. My favourite ABBA album is 'Ring Ring' there are alot of really good songs on there the best one being 'Nina Pretty Ballerina' I do wish that song would appear on more ABBA compilation albums I also really like 'Me And Bobby And Bobby's Brother' & 'Another Town, Another Train'. I really hope that the fifth single from Voyage will be 'When You Danced With Me' the Irish sound is wonderful and its just screaming out to be a single plus its something ABBA have never done before I liked it as soon as I heard it and when the track list was revealed 'When You Danced With Me', 'Little Things' & 'I Can Be That Woman' were the three songs that stood out to me.

I am so thrilled that I got to experience new ABBA music at the age of 31 as I wasn't born during their heyday in the 70s and early 80s its been a wonderful time for me as an ABBA fan and I recently caught my best friend who has stated that he doesn't like ABBA's music singing along to 'Don't Shut Me Down' & 'Just A Notion' it really made me feel so thrilled that ABBA's music can make anyone sing along to their songs he was singing along to the second chorus of 'Don't Shut Me Down', 'he then replied I don't normally like ABBA's music but this song is absolutely awesome no way can anyone sound this good over the age of 70'.

It upsets me to realise that ABBA's new songs are only bringing interest to ABBA fans instead of non ABBA fans I really wanted 'Little Things' to be UK Christmas Number 1 as its such a fabulous song and really captures the true spirit of Christmas instead the UK are lumbered with the god awful Ladbaby for the 4th consecutive year how an absolutely rubbish song can be liked and even reach Number 1 makes me wonder why the UK public are so attracted to such awful music and allow excellent songs to completely go unnoticed.

Thank you Adam for clarifying " Hovas Vittne " as an unreleased track. I can remember looking at a photo of ABBA dressed in their Eurovision outfits. They were performing the song for Stig's birthday. It is a jolly song. ABBA wore their Eurovision outfits in 1981 when performing 'Hovas Vittne' although the trousers that Agnetha wore in 1981 were not the same ones she wore in 1974 I do like 'Hovas Vittne' and part of the melody was used in Merano in Chess in the line 'Where breathing in will turn you on, where water tastes like wine', I really wish that ABBA had recorded 'Hovas Vittne' in English it would have been very interesting. I regard 'Every Good Man' as an ABBA demo and in the Tim Rice podcasts he actually says it was written for ABBA but it would be nice to hear it in full along with the various outtakes of 'The Day Before You Came'. It would be lovely to finally hear the full version of 'In The Arms Of Rosalita'. Hovas Vittne As I mentioned above the trousers that Agnetha is wearing in this performance of 'Hovas Vittne' are not the same trousers she wore at the 1974 Eurovision Song Contest.

I really like 'Don't Shut Me Down', 'Little Things', 'Just A Notion' and 'I Still Have Faith In You' all the songs are brilliant but its going to take a few more listens of 'Ode To Freedom' before it hits me I do like it though.

I would love to see full versions of 'Just Like That','Rikky Rock 'N' Roller', 'Burning My Bridges', 'Autumn Days (Hamlet)', 'Rubber Ball Man' and 'Giving A Little Bit More' get released and I consider 'Hovas Vittne' as well as its never had a release on CD on any compilation I was actually quite surprised that it didn't appear on the Complete Studio Recordings box set in 2005.
I also like 'Baby' (Early version of Rock Me)

I really want to see 'When You Danced With Me' get released as a single its so incredibly catchy and its classic ABBA I also wouldn't mind seeing 'I Can Be That Woman' as a single as well its a fantastic song.
These are the singles going back to the classic style if they had a B-Side
I Still Have Faith In You/Ode To Freedom Don't Shut Me Down/Bumblebee Just A Notion/I Let The Music Speak Little Things/Happy New Year When You Danced With Me/Keep An Eye On Dan (Double A Side) I Can Be That Woman/No Doubt About It
I really like 'I Can Be That Woman', 'When You Danced With Me' & 'Bumblebee' were the titles that jumped out at me when I saw the tracklist and I also really like 'No Doubt About It' and 'Keep An Eye On Dan'.
The one song that still needs to grow on me is 'Ode To Freedom' I do like it but it didn't hit me like the other songs did its perfect as an album closer and as a B-Side.

I do like your updated More ABBA Gold tracklist, Tony. Why wasn't HNY included on More Gold ? A beautiful song so worthy of inclusion but sadly forgotten for some reason I'll never understand. I would willingly substitute the song instead of OAOAO or IW. 'Slipping Through My Fingers' should have definitely been on More ABBA Gold as its never appeared on any re-issue of Gold or More Gold it could have been a bonus track on the 2014 40th Anniversary Edition on disc 3. This is my view of a new version of the Gold series titled 'Eternal Gold' Disc 1 1. As Good As New 2. If It Wasn't For The Nights 3. Nina Pretty Ballerina 4. Tiger 5. What About Livingstone 6. Happy New Year 7. Slipping Through My Fingers 8. Soldiers 9. The Piper 10. You Owe Me One 11. Bang A Boomerang 12. I've Been Waiting For You 13. Move On 14. I'm A Marionette 15. Just A Notion 16. Keep An Eye On Dan Disc 2 1. Don't Shut Me Down 2. When You Danced With Me 3. Me And Bobby And Bobby's Brother 4. Another Town, Another Train 5. Hey Hey Helen 6. Tropical Loveland 7. The King Has Lost His Crown 8. Elaine 9. Little Things 10. I Can Be That Woman 11. Should I Laugh Or Cry 12. Like An Angel Passing Through My Room 13. Happy Hawaii 14. Kisses of Fire 15. Dum Dum Diddle 16. No Doubt About It The reason I included 'Dum Dum Diddle' is because its a fantastic song, really catchy, extremely underrated and its one of my favourite ABBA songs the same applies to 'Nina Pretty Ballerina', 'Me And Bobby And Bobby's Brother' & 'What About Livingstone'.

I know The Visitors album topped the charts in 1981 but didn't 'The Singles: The First Ten Years' also reach Number 1 in 1982.
Today (8th November 2021) marks 39 years since 'The Singles: The First Ten Years' was released.

I am 31 and I have been an ABBA fan since 2003 at the age of 13, I owe them so much as their music came into my life at a time when I was struggling mentally with being bullied as well as having Aspergers Sydrome and dealing with being autistic, I love ABBA's music so much my favourite song is 'Dream World' and my favourite ABBA album is 'Ring Ring' I was in an extremely dark place mentally at that time and I found a copy of ABBA Gold in my nan's CD collection, I had been aware of who ABBA were and knew of about 3 songs so on a nice sunny Spring Saturday afternoon in April 2003 I lay on my bed and listened to ABBA Gold and I was hooked straight away the songs transported me into their musical dream world and it helped me through the tough times in life ever since and I still have that copy of ABBA Gold on CD.
I first discovered 'Dream World' a few weeks later during a music lesson in school as the teacher had a copy of the 'Thank You For The Music' box set so I listened to discs 3 & 4 during my lunch break over 2 days and as soon as I heard 'Dream World' I knew there and then that was my favourite ABBA song it was just incredible so I then got their albums and compilations over the next 5 years with every Birthday and Christmas and then I discovered the solo albums and that is a whole different story.
I was in work when the live stream for Voyage went out so while I was waiting for my taxi home (I don't drive so rely on public transport) I listened to 'I Still Have Faith In You' & 'Don't Shut Me Down' outside the hotel I work in and a huge smile came across my face when I heard those songs for the very first time then I found out about the Voyage album I was thrilled at finally getting the chance to experience a new ABBA album which is something I cannot describe in words at how much its means to me.
'Voyage' is amazing and I love the entire album especially 'When You Danced With Me', 'Little Things', 'Just A Notion', 'I Can Be That Woman', 'Bumblebee', 'Keep An Eye On Dan' and 'No Doubt About It', I do like 'Ode To Freedom' but it needs to grow on me alot more as its the only song I haven't given multiple listens to.
Having spent the past 18 years as an ABBA fan its been the best time of my life having their music in my life I couldn't have gotten through the 3 UK Lockdowns without ABBA's music and all the other artists that I listen to my anxiety was through the roof as I wasn't able to work due to being in hospitality industry.
'Voyage' means alot to me but even more to the longtime ABBA fans who have waited 38 years since ABBA took a break in 1983 for new songs so to all of you enjoy this magnificent album and thank you for welcoming me into the fandom, I get told constantly that due to being born in 1990 I am too young to be an ABBA fan.

The part of 'Keep An Eye On Dan' which starts 'I-I think he must have lost some weight, funny how it takes me back to our first date' is what takes my breath away when Agnetha & Frida hold the note on I and the way they sing 'funny how' is beautiful their vocals together are just phenomenal to sing notes like that over the age of 70 is just wonderful they really do bring out the best in each other vocally.

I have no idea why but the verses and the melody of the verses of 'Keep An Eye On Dan' is giving me serious vibes of 'The Film I'd Like To See' by Josefin Nilsson probably because of the way Agnetha sings it but for me the standout songs are 'When You Danced With Me', 'Little Things', 'I Can Be That Woman', 'Bumblebee' & 'No Doubt About It' and of course I also adore 'Don't Shut Me Down', 'Just A Notion' & 'I Still Have Faith In You' and I also like 'Ode To Freedom' but it needs more time to grow on me still a fantastic song.
'When You Danced With Me' is just fabulous love the Irish music its a whole new territory for ABBA and this was the most unexpected song for me and along with 'I Can Be That Woman' and 'Little Things' these are the songs that I really wanted to hear when the tracklist was revealed.

'When You Danced With Me' is fantastic so catchy and a strong Irish influence very different style for ABBA definitely the stand out song for me with 'I Can Be That Woman' the chorus melody of 'No Doubt About It' is identical to another song but cannot think which one it is and its bugging me I have heard that melody before at first I thought it was from a Gemini song 'I Am The Universe' but cannot remember.

'Just A Notion' is absolutely fantastic and it would definitely fit on a re-issue of 'Voulez Vous' why on earth this song was not released in 1994 absoloutely baffles me its wonderful and to finally hear ABBA sing that first verse and first chorus that was edited out of the undeleted medley at long last is amazing.

It’s not the same part of the song that appears in ABBA Undeleted though. The “I just can’t explain” bit isn’t in that. The vocals sound so good that I really want to believe they’re all new - it wouldn’t make sense to try and sound younger on one song by using old vocals when the other nine tracks have new ones. I want to hear the full 1978 demo now! Just A Notion was going to be released in full in 1994 on the Thank You For The Music box set but Bjorn & Benny said they couldn't get it to mix properly and they weren't happy with the mix on that version so it was edited to include only the second and third verses the entire first verse was edited out completely and the part that goes 'There's something happening that I just can't explain if I try its all in vain' was also edited out. But the snippet released today sound like a completely different vocal take from 1978 as if they did another attempt at it but I also want to hear the full Undeleted version I have been wondering what made them revisit 'Just A Notion' I will always regard this song as an outtake from the Voulez Vous album it would also fit on a new re-issue of the Voulez Vous album.

I am sick and tired of hearing about Global Warming and Climate Change can we not bring it into an ABBA forum as its to do with their wonderful and not some so called event that is not worth worrying aboutThe post from yesterday that you quoted is focused on a new album by Adele. It simply suggests that the "30" projections might have something to do with a forthcoming conference rather than an album title. It's not a debate about climate change. I am sorry about that but I am just so fed up of hearing about Global Warming and Climate Change please forgive me if I caused any offence

How amazing would it be if 'Just Like That' is a hidden track on the new album considering Agnetha is 71 years old her voice sounds incredible its not changed at all since 2013 and Frida's voice is in better condition than I thought it would be and all day I am getting the feeling of what it was like to be an ABBA fan in the 70s and 80s and they are doing all their own backing vocals just like they used to.

This is a wonderful moment for me as an ABBA fan as I am 31 and never got the opportunity to experience them during their 1970-1983 heyday and to have a new album is wonderful I have been thinking of all the long time ABBA fans who have waited 38 years for this since the last single 'Thank You For The Music' was released in November 1983.
'I Still Have Faith In You' and 'Don't Shut Me Down' are beautiful songs and I am blown away at how Agnetha's voice doesn't sound any different to 2013 she really does look after her voice she can still get those high notes 'Voyage' will be an incredible album I am buying it on CD.
As this is the 9th album it would be nice to have a second disc with the 6 songs from the 1982 sessions as those songs were originally intended for the 9th album.

I am absolutely delighted as I never got to experience ABBA during their heyday from 1970-1983 I was born in 1990 so at the age of 31 to see and hear that ABBA are releasing new songs for the first time in 38 years is absolutely incredible, I always had a feeling they would record together again.
